There are two options for the Certified Forklift Technician (CFT)® Instructor Training:
1. Authorized “CFT E-Learning Instructor” Training
To train and authorize instructors to teach the CFT e-learning 55-hour course, Instructors will have 180 days access to the self paced e-learning material on the Amatrol Learning Management System. Upon completion, Instructors are required to pass the CFT Pre-Qualification Assessment at an MSSC® Authorized Assessment Center then they will be listed as an Authorized CFT E-Learning Instructor.
Note: The E-learning Instructor Certificate does not mean individuals are Full CFT Certified, see below for additional details.
2. Authorized “Full CFT Instructor” Training
To train and authorize instructors to teach the CFT e-learning 55-hour course and hands-on training for students, Instructors will have 180 days access to the self paced e-learning material on the Amatrol Learning Management System. Instructors are required to pass the CFT Pre-Qualification Assessment at an MSSC Authorized Assessment Center and the hands-on training & assessment at their local Forklift Dealership or at a location that has all of the required forklift equipment. Once completed, Instructors will be listed as an Authorized Full CFT Instructor.
